. Proper Tool UsageHow do I use the circle cutter so I do not have to remove my hand from the tool, keeping my circle uniform?By griping the tall handle with your non dominant hand and then placing the blade rotator/brown knob at 11 O’clock if you are right handed (or 1 O’clock if you are left handed) you will be able to PULL the base of the circle cutter towards you and then around the top of the circle with ease. Apply pressure to the blade rotator knob which engages the blade…there is no need to apply a lot of pressure to the handle just enough to keep the tool in place. How do I use the line guide, the wavy cutters and the cropper with the main tool body? Each of these tools has a rail guide that easily slips onto the main tool body/ruler. Place your paper in position and then put the device on the guide rail and push the tool or pull the tool for a clean cut or line for stenciling. How do I attach the main tool body to the cutting mat?By taking the T-Square guide unit and snapping it into place using the notches on the cutting mat as your guide you will secure the T-Square in place…then take your ruler and using the end with the notches on the ruler, snap it into the T-Square unit which will then secure your ruler to the cutting mat, allowing for very accurate cuts and lines without any movement. You can easily adjust the paper by lifting the ruler and sliding the paper to your desired location/measurement. How do I use the sticker placer remover and the stencil/card scorer? The spatula end of the tool is very easy to hold and maneuver with small stickers so you can take them off the original paper and place them on your crafting item. If you misplace the sticker you can use the tool to scoop the sticker off again and re-place where you want it. The steel rounded tip at the other end is used for embossing with the stencils you have been provided and for card scoring on the back of your mat where you will find a scoring line. Simple use the steel tip to outline the stencil on the paper of your choice. When scoring turn your mat over to expose the scoring line. Take your favorite card stock and use the rounded plastice end to channel in your scoring line. How do I attach the wavy cutter to make pattered strips in three different widths? The wavy cutter has an offset blade in each of the two units with a notched shaftto guide the blades in unison. By attaching the two units together with the blades closest to each other you will get a thin strip. You can also invert one of the units to put one of the blades further away from center to get a medium width strip. By inverting both units to have the blades furthest apart you will have a wide strip . The notches in the shaft easily snap together the keep the units steady and the blades rotating in unison. How do snap the stamp heads to the handle and remove them?Use the picture tab on the stamp head as your guide. Face the picture towards you on a flat surface and take the handle over the head and gently snap the head in place. When you are ready to change designs you can easily pull the head off using the picture tab to un-snap the head. How do I clean the ink off my stamp heads?By using the cleaning pad provide simply wipe the head off after you use a color to clean it. When the cleaning pad become dirty you can simply take it out and wash it with a little warm water and soap. How do I apply the pen holder and small item pouches to the inside of the winged doors? The winged doors are lined with Velcro so you can easily attach the pen holder and the pouch in any place that suits you. How do I secure the main case to the base case and how do I take them apart? The top of the base case has two snap on notches that fit into the bottom of the main case. By lining these up and applying light pressure to the main case they will snap together. There is a release button on the right side of the base case. Push this button in lightly and it will release the notches so you can remove the main case from the base case. How do I lock the table open on the base case? The table on the top of the base case has two arms that fold open easily and secure into place so that you have extra workspace. It can hold a decent amount of weight but be careful not to place any items over 5lbs. on the table. When you are ready to pack up, fold the left arm under the right arm and you are good to go. How do I adjust the drawers with the inserts? Each drawer on the main case (except the drawer with the tool pockets) and each drawer in the base case have adjustable panels so you can make it fit any project you are working on. You can use three of the panels vertically to have a three pocket drawer by slipping them into the channels inside the drawer or you can add the two horizontal panels to make each drawer have six pockets or take them all out for one big drawer. |
